How CryptoVaultTracker Works

Add Your Wallets

The first step is to add all the wallets where you store your crypto assets.
Wallets can be:

Exchange
(e.g. Coinbase, Binance)

Hardware
(e.g. Ledger, Trezor)

Software
(e.g. MetaMask, Trust Wallet)

Other
(Paper, mobile apps, etc.)

Tip: You can add as many wallets as you need—each wallet helps you organize your coins and tokens for more accurate tracking.

Add Your Holdings

Next, for each wallet, add every coin or token you currently own. Enter the amount and your average cost (your purchase price per unit).

Example: You own 1.25 ETH in MetaMask at an average cost of $2,100 per ETH.
Add it as:
Wallet: MetaMask, Coin: ETH, Amount: 1.25, Avg Cost: $2,100

Lock Your Holdings

After onboarding, your holdings table becomes locked to protect your data accuracy.
Going forward, all new changes to your portfolio (buys, sells, transfers) are managed through the Transactions page.

This prevents manual changes from accidentally getting your numbers out of sync. If you missed anything, contact support for a one-time unlock!

Log Transactions

Use the Transactions page to log every crypto buy, sell, or transfer after onboarding. The system automatically updates your holdings, dashboard, and performance stats.

Buy: Increase your balance of a coin.
Sell: Decrease your balance, tracks realized profit/loss.
Transfer: Move coins between your own wallets, or to/from outside wallets.

Your dashboard and charts update instantly as you log new transactions—no manual editing needed!

Portfolio Overview & More

View your up-to-date portfolio, net gain/loss, and top performers any time from your dashboard.
You can also manage wallets, view holdings, and explore your performance with easy-to-read charts.

Q: I forgot a coin during onboarding. What do I do?
A: Contact support to request a temporary unlock, or open a support ticket.
Q: Can I add more wallets later?
A: Yes! You can add and manage wallets at any time from the Wallets page.
